Hills Tapestry

Hills measures 48" wide x 72" high. This tapestry was designed for a home surrounded by trees and hills. This piece is woven in a tapestry technique with wrapped warp (providing an open effect) and rya (offering raised, textural areas). The yarns, plied together to create a stippled effect, are wool, acrylic, and cotton. The top of the tapestry is shaped to give a dramatic line to this wall hanging.
