Mountains Triptych Tapestries

This piece measures 90" wide x 48" high, with each individual piece measuring 30" wide x 48" high. Mountains is a triptych woven in a tapestry technique with textured wools and cottons. The two side pieces are hung from a piece of wood sewn into a hem. The middle section is sewn to a backing which echoes the shape of each peak. The peaks are attached to the wall with hooks and eyes. The colors used reflect the colors in a rustic fireplace which is opposite the wall hanging.
